How we check information
Every material condition on this site comes with a source number and the date the source was opened. This page explains which sources we use, how we mark unverified information and how we fix mistakes.

- published
Order of sources
Each kind of information has a primary source:
- Operator status: Estonia's official list and register. They show the right to organise gambling, not the quality of payouts.
- Operator terms: documents on the specific domain that appears in the official list.
- Clarifications: a written reply from the operator's support, with the date and channel recorded.
- Our own observation: only when the date, method, sequence of steps and result are recorded.
Third-party reviews and forums are a reason to check something, not evidence. When sources conflict, we describe the discrepancy and ask for clarification rather than picking the convenient figure.
How facts are marked
All facts sit in one registry and reach the pages from there, so the same condition reads the same everywhere and a change updates every page at once.
- A boxed number next to a statement links to the source at the end of the page, with the source's update date where known and the date we opened it.
- A dotted underline means the source has been found but an editor has not yet confirmed the information.
- The “Facts checked” field at the top of a page shows when the information was collected.
If the source we examined does not give a value, we write “not stated in the source examined”. That is different from “not checked yet”.
What counts as a test
Reading terms is not a test. The words “in our test” appear only where the date, method, sequence of steps and result are recorded. One test shows one case, it does not prove a typical timeline.
The editor has deposited and withdrawn money at every casino in the catalogue. Results of individual payouts (date, method and time to arrive) are added to the reviews as they are written up.
How comparisons work
We compare like with like: request processing time with processing time, time to receive the money with time to receive the money. There are no scores or rankings without a reproducible method. Until one exists, operators are listed alphabetically. How commercial relationships relate to ordering is set out under commercial relationships.
How often information is updated
- Operators' payment terms and offers: monthly, and whenever we learn of a change.
- General guides: quarterly.
- Official procedures: before publication and whenever the source changes.
This is our working routine. A page's update date changes only after a substantive check. If information cannot be kept current, we remove the statement that depends on it or mark it clearly as historical.
How a casino score is calculated
The score shows how fully, and how favourably for the player, an operator describes its terms. Every casino on the EMTA list starts at 6 out of 10, because it holds an Estonian licence. The other eight criteria each give 0, 1 or 2 points under the rule in the table below and add up to 4 more: score = 6 + points / 16 × 4, with one decimal. In each review, every point links to its source and the date it was read.
| Criterion | Scoring rule |
|---|---|
| EMTA licence | The casino is on the EMTA list, which gives a base of 6 out of 10. The other 8 criteria add up to 4 more. |
| Withdrawal time | 2 points: the operator states bank payouts within one business day. 1 point: a longer time is stated. 0 points: no time stated. |
| Withdrawal fees | 2 points: the terms say there is no withdrawal fee. 1 point: a fee may apply but no amount is given. 0 points: a fixed fee is charged. |
| Minimum withdrawal | 2 points: a minimum is stated and is €10 or less. 1 point: stated above €10. 0 points: not stated. |
| Withdrawal methods | 2 points: three or more withdrawal methods. 1 point: two. 0 points: one or not stated. |
| Restriction tools | 2 points: the account offers a deposit limit, a loss limit and self-exclusion (a break). 1 point: some of these. 0 points: none described. |
| Inactivity fee | 2 points: the terms set no fee for inactive accounts. 0 points: a fee applies. |
| Support | 2 points: chat with published daily hours. 1 point: chat without stated hours. 0 points: no chat. |
| Complaint deadline | 2 points: reply deadline of 14 days or less. 1 point: a longer deadline is stated. 0 points: not stated. |
This is version 1 of the method, adopted on 25 October 2026. If the method changes, version 2 will be added and version 1 will stay described here.
How errors are corrected
You can report an error through contact and corrections. We fix factual errors as soon as they are confirmed and record the change in the page log.
How texts are prepared
Drafts are prepared with an AI tool following this methodology. Nothing is published without an editor's check: until then a page stays a draft and is closed to search engines. Texts sent by people are edited without changing their meaning, and their origin is recorded.
